A military buddy brought me here. He drove from Lincoln, NB, and i flew in from Detroit, MI. It has been 25 years since we last were stationed together in Northern Japan. Meals here reminded me of a home away from home. Real pot stickers. I had the fried catfish meal. The sweet potato ice cream was AMAZING ?

Menu options are small being from South Texas red beans and rice was a wash and they rice white not yellow

Had a large order and the things that was deep fried was tasty but the stir fry cabbage its to much fish oil/ ginger , the Mac and cheese super disappointing doesn’t seem like “soul food” no baked taste a lil watery for my tastebuds, greens are good, sweet pie have hella nutmeg overbearing- prices are expensive, outside tables were dirty and we ordered drinks that came a lil while after our food with little to no ice, unfortunately probably won’t be back.Shout out to the young man serving but seriously they need more help.Overall 4/5 out of 10 oh I almost forgot those red beans and rice needs to be revamped yellow rice with sage maybe with a few beans added on top smashed noooooo that was horrible ? I feel tricked spent $160 a dollars worse experience ?
