Bernies Pizza Parlor - Green Meadows

We were visiting Omaha for the weekend and were trying to figure out what to have for dinner. We settled on Bernie's and we are glad we did! We had a half meatball, half Islander pizza. It was delicious! The crust is unlike any we have ever had. It's more bread like and so soft, but not floppy. We will come here again! It will be worth a 3 hour drive.

Bernie's doesn't get talked about much in Omaha, and that's unfortunate. Great pizza, from the crust and sauce to ample toppings. It may not be fancy, but it's some of the best pizza we've had in Omaha.

How can you go wrong with this delicious crust, sauce and fresh ingredients. I do miss the old sit down restraunt with Michelob on tap but it is the pizza that keeps me coming back. I will eat it in my truck, in the park or at a friend's house. A unique flavor at a fair price. When I'm in the mood for Pizza and near Millard, this is my go to place. They dint call it a tradition for no reason.

I visited this restaurant for the first time tonight and ordered a large cheese pizza and a large meatball pizza. The owner, I assume, brought my order to me and mentioned that this was an exceptional batch of meatballs, explaining that she makes them from scratch. She wasn't exaggerating—the meatballs were indeed outstanding! We will definitely return. Highly recommended!

Last week, we ordered pizza from Bernie’s for the first time. We got a small cheese pizza and a medium sausage pizza, and our order was ready in just 30 minutes. There was convenient parking right in front of the restaurant. Although the place is small, it was tidy and well-kept. The girl at the front counter was very polite and even offered us a 10% discount because it was our first visit. The pizzas were hot and delicious! The crust tasted homemade and was quite good. My only piece of feedback is that, in my opinion, the crust could use a little more salt or seasoning. I enjoyed the crust nonetheless, but with a tad more flavor, it would earn a perfect 5-star rating from me. My family really loved the pizza, and I’m sure we’ll be ordering from Bernie’s again very soon!
