Boathouse Pub - Green Lake

We came in from the lake and there were discrepancies about where we could park the boat. Kind of felt unwelcoming to boat traffic. Very little was kid friendly, we were not given kid's menus, and were given waters for 2, 6, and 8 year olds in glass pint glasses on the concrete patio. Food and service were prompt and adequate but nothing had sparkle. There is such great potential at this amazing property. Views are wonderful.

I can only give this place one star because of its location. We stopped by for a quick drink before heading to a party. There were at least five staff members behind the bar, and it wasn't very crowded. We sat for about ten minutes without anyone greeting us or offering assistance. We tried to make eye contact to get some help, but still no one acknowledged us. We won't be returning.

The service was excellent, and the fish tacos were incredible. I noticed a signature drink on the menu that caught my eye, but I was informed they didn't have the ingredients to make it. Quite surprising! Instead, I opted for a Margarita, which turned out to be one of the best I've ever tasted. I was tempted to order a second, but they had run out of one of the ingredients for that as well. What a letdown! This place definitely has the potential to earn 5 stars, but they need more knowledgeable staff and to ensure they keep the ingredients for their signature drinks available.

I visited for the first time after hearing wonderful things about this restaurant. While the view was gorgeous, the service left much to be desired. I placed my order, only to be informed that they couldn’t prepare what was listed on the menu. I requested a meat substitution, and then they said they could fulfill my order. Unfortunately, I was never given any silverware. After finishing my drink, the bartender cleared my glass but didn’t ask if I wanted another drink or even offer water. Overall, the service rated a 1 at best.
