Bidrage med feedbackMost amazing Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at. Staff was super nice and friendly. The chips come with salsa AND queso dip. Until today, I have never been to a Mexican restaurant that doesn't charge extra for queso. I ordered the dinner especialte and I got two huge plates of food for the price of only meal $11.99). I had to take a picture because it was so much food. I have a big appetite but even I couldn't finish everything. The food was super delicious and the tacos came with fresh guac, again no extra charge. I have not left a restaurant review since two or three years ago but this place was so good that I want to support them because I hope they do well. In summary, 10/10 Great experience, would recommend
Margaritas were good. Food and service was fast and they were very friendly! Chicken enchiladas were full of chicken and very filling!
Overall, pretty decent for a Mexican restaurant. Nice location, near shopping and other restaurants. Plenty of parking. Inside of restaurant was small but nice, mostly booths. We were served complementary chips and salsa through our whole stay which was nice. The salsa tasted fresh and was pretty good. We ordered one Mango Margarita a medium and it was quite large and strong. Would recommend. Also we ordered a mojito, which was just ok. Needed more lime. For food, I ordered the Mazatlán $11.50) which consisted of one shrimp quesadilla and one shrimp and crab enchilada. Served with rice, lettuce, sour cream and tomato. This was just ok, the protein was a generous portion, however the quesadilla was over powered with too much white cheese. The seafood got lost in it. The enchilada was served with red sauce, and containing seafood, I think a green chile sauce would have paired better. My fiancé ordered the Special Dinner Combo $12.99) which was huge! You do receive a lot of food for not a high cost. This meal included one tamale, one enchilada, one chile relleno, one taco and a tostaguac. All served with rice, beans and a choice of chicken or ground beef for the enchilada. This was way too much food for one person, so my fiancé only at about 1/3 of it. I would recommend two people splitting this meal. Each item individually was ok, however my fiancé didn't care for the chile relleno. Traditionally a chile relleno is a green chile pepper stuffed with minced meat and coated with eggs, however a common pepper that is used otherwise is a poblano pepper. In this case the restaurant used the poblano. The issues he had with it was the inside of the pepper was 100% white cheese. It was way too much cheese, even for a Wisconsinite. I would recommend the restaurant re-working this menu item. There was one seating host and one waiter. They provided excellent service, buy we felt bad the waiter had to cover around 15 tables all by himself. For the cost effective food and me
Fast service food came out quick. The Peach margarita was great. They have a weird corn/pea/lima bean mix that goes inmost of their stuff which is the only reason I would have given 4 stars since I didn't care for it.
Food came fast. The chili releno was nicely done with just the right amount of refried beans. The addition of lettuce, guacamole, tomato, and cheese was a refreshing touch. The Chili Verde was so tender with enough for another lunch tomorrow ???? The 99 cent margaritas (available Monday and Tuesday with $5.49 food purchase) were tart and not too strong. This gem is definitely worth stopping in to try. We will return!
