Alexandra Reataurant - Great Yarmouth

I went to Alexandra yesterday with a group of old friends for our Christmas lunch. The staff were very friendly and there was a wide selection on the menu, including traditional Christmas meals as well as English and Greek dishes. The food was plentiful and delicious, and the service was outstanding. I would definitely recommend this family restaurant.

We stopped by for lunch at this restaurant, reminiscing about our visit many years ago. We were pleased to see that while the interior had been updated with a modern touch, the charming atmosphere remained unchanged. The staff were extremely friendly and the ambiance was welcoming and inviting. We all ordered roast dinners, which were delicious and served in generous portions. The only downside is that we live too far away to attend their exciting Greek nights, which sound like a lot of fun. We would love to experience one in the future!

This family-run restaurant is definitely worth a visit. During a short break in the area, I took my daughter and son-in-law to dine here. Our last visit had been 9 years ago, but they have clearly put effort into renovating the place, as it now looks fabulous and very inviting. The menu offers a wide selection of dishes, ranging from traditional Greek favorites to classic English dishes. We all opted for the roast dinner and were not disappointed - the portion sizes and flavors were spot on. We also indulged in some desserts, which were a pleasant surprise when it came to the bill. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back next time we are in the area. The staff were friendly and engaging, with my son-in-law even receiving a lollipop for his cheeky behavior and accidentally touching the hot plates! Overall, a great experience with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere.

Heading to the end of our season and it wouldn’t be the same if we didn’t finish off one of our last weekends with a good meal at this establishment. Great food as always. Great staff, friendly and polite and always happy to see you. Well done guys. Probably won’t see you until next year now. Have a great Christmas and see you all in 2024 !!

Great atmosphere , comfortable service , I've dined in some places where they are all over you ,because they want you in , then out , here you are checked upon comfortably, nice detail .lovely food , lovely experience, thank you to the staff and management.
