The food was good however I am not a smoker and being seated in the basement where the kitchen was too dark and depressive for me. I felt like I was being punished for being a non-smoker. They should re-arrange the seating. Also, just so...you know some of the items are not on the english menu. A local friend of mine helped me with the menu.
We were here for a late Sunday dinner and later on for music entrainment. The service was very friendly and quickly they offered us a table. The menu was very fine as well the beer selection (they offer their own beer . It´s definitely local food...and with fresh ingredients – almost like home-made- Always on SUNnight there plays live music in a separate room – (no extra fee/tickets, just donation – together with fine cocktails. Tasteful kitchen, friendly service and always open when you need it - what do you want more? the only real minus point is that the non-smoking are banned in the windowless cellar. for this you can watch the chefs at work.The menu is refreshingly international and colourful mixed. you get a lot of quality for your money.
The ordered suppen were very good. the main dishes a grill plate, two citizens and twice fascated laibs unfortunately not. for the citizens and at the grill plate the meat was too long at the grill and therefore very dry. it had hardly any spices. the sauce was too salty in the laibs. it wasn't one of the foods an experience.The weeping was brought to question only when we were almost finished with the main dish. conclusion: not again!
