Pancake House - Grayson

I recently moved to the area and decided to try this restaurant for the first time. The atmosphere was very welcoming on a Sunday. Our server, Dehlia, was fantastic - very sweet, friendly, and patient. Our food arrived quickly, although I thought the eggs could have been better. However, my kids really enjoyed the chicken and waffles and pancakes. Overall, the service was great. We dined in.

I ordered the vegetable omelet, which was filled with a variety of veggies and had a reasonable price. The pancakes were on par with those from other pancake restaurants.

There were only three customers in the restaurant at 8am, but there were five servers on duty. Despite this, I had to request a coffee refill myself. The servers seemed more interested in chatting with each other than attending to customers. In the future, I will be going to Lawrenceville for better service. Overall, I would rate the food a 4, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 3.

The gentleman working at the front was courteous. It is strange that they no longer have a website, so you have to look for a menu elsewhere. The food was decent, but the eggs were not very satisfying and the bacon was too limp. Overall, the lack of anything outstanding in the food makes me hesitant to go back. However, the prices are fair. I would rate the food a 3, service a 4, and atmosphere a 3.

Good location, decent service but the food is very much average. The eggs taste like they are powdered, the bacon is VERY salty and needs to be rinsed prior to cooking. The interior is in DESPERATE need of updating. There are pieces of cardboard used to level the tables. We will pass on future visits. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast
