El Sombrero Mexican Grill - Gray

New to town and stopped in to try it out. Maybe Texas Mexican is just that much better but it was the worst that we’ve ever had. Pretty sure the beans and red sauce were out of a can. Fries and chips both tasted like dirty oil. Ground beef was mush. (TB meat is closer to actual beef) Corn tortillas weren’t cooked. We also ordered drinks. They tasted great but pretty sure there was no alcohol. I would call anything we had “authentic Mexican” so $70 down the drain for us. Totally just our opinion. Try at your own risk! Plus side? YES. Service was decent. Restaurant looked and smelled clean. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
