Abu's Oasis Deli - Grants Pass

The shawarma is AMAZING! The portion sizes have shrunk a bit throughout the years, but you still receive enough to fill you up. It's not the most modern or welcoming atmosphere, but I love looking at the grocery items for sale while waiting for my order.

Abu's is a wonderful restaurant, mom and pop owned, and a staple in Grants Pass. I've dined in and also had take out and each experience was wonderful. The food is excellent and customer service is spot on. They serve mouth watering baklava, and the shwarma with tabouli is my favorite.

Quiet little place, friendly staff. Stopped by in search of a chicken gyro. The lady working the counter (probably the owner) pointed out that what I wanted was on special for the day with a side salad that I had never heard of before. The salad was wonderful, with so many amazing flavors!! The gyro was everything I was hoping for. Will absolutely be back the next time I'm driving through!! Oh and the garlic sauce with warm pita was absolutely devine!!

Dear Owners, please taste the food you are serving. I was raised in a Lebanese home and with all respect, your food does not resemble the food I was raised on and make in my own home. We traveled to Grants Pass on our way to Eugene and stopped at your oasis. My falafel did not resemble a falafel; it was more like seasoned fried chickpeas smothered in a tahini/mayo sauce. Friendly people and so delicious. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
