Little Bliss Cakery - Granite Bay

Super quality service and delicious treats! I called the day before needing a gender reveal cupcake, and they were happy to work with me and delivered a stellar product that was exactly what I wanted and needed. Five stars!

They have the best cupcakes ever! They are so light and not too sweet. I especially like that they are filling like a really good desert yet I don't feel stuffed. definitely worth a stop! And there is a good selection of flavors. Luscious Lemon mmmmm good!

While driving down Folsom Auburn Road, I noticed Little Bliss Cakery beckoning me. I am a sucker for bakeries, so I dropped in. In the same lot as Akebono, LBC has been open for about three months now. The interior is tastefully done with crystal chandeliers, crown molding, wallpaper and mirrors. They also sell candy and other birthday paraphernalia. But enough about that, on to the cupcakes! Normal sized ones cost $2.75 (a dozen $30), mini ones are $1.25 (one dozen $12). They even have gluten free available! Lots of flavors to choose from! I bought a few to sample: Rootbeer float Lemon Caramel espresso Cheesecake Chocolate lover Presentation wise, the cupcakes are creative and delicious at the same time. I found the consistency of the chocolate cake cupcakes to be on par with a package uniformly moist, but lacking a punch. However I did like the cake part of the rootbeer float and cheesecake cupcakes. Some frosting is buttercream, some have a cream cheese base. It was a warmish day so unfortunately by the time I got home, the frosting smeared a bit. Not all have buttercream, so if you are a fan (like me) it is best to ask which ones to get. LBC also does custom cakes and serves ice cream! I don't know what brand of ice cream they use, however. There are tables to sit outside, so you could potentially have cake AND ice cream, always a good combination!

I was absolutely amazed by their cake-making skills when I picked up my order. My husband is turning 30 this Christmas, and he's never really had a birthday party. I reached out to them with this bold idea, sharing a bunch of Pinterest photos, and asked if they could create a half birthday cake with a Star Wars theme. They perfectly replicated the Pokémon cupcakes I sent them too—right down to the last detail! They were incredibly helpful and genuinely excited about my concept. While the cakes initially seemed pricey, the amount of work and effort they put into bringing my vision to life was well worth it! Everyone adored the half cake and the cupcakes, and my husband was completely surprised and thrilled with it. Thank you, LittleBliss! I highly recommend them if you're looking for a custom cake!

My wife and I don’t usually indulge in cupcakes, but on many days when she’s coming back from the lake, we love to stop by Little Bliss. When it’s just the two of us, we can treat ourselves to a mini cupcake or two, but when we’re with friends or hosting a gathering, we always pick up a dozen of these adorable and delicious treats.
