Langs Bar Restaurant - Grange

During our trip to Ireland, we dined at this restaurant. The food was wonderful - the steak sandwich was just okay, but the fish and chips were amazing. It was definitely worth every penny and not overly touristy, which was a plus. The atmosphere was more authentic with more locals dining there, which added to the overall experience.

The restaurant offers delicious food with convenient seating, making it worth a visit. My wife and I enjoyed the special of the day, Aberdeen Angus replacement ribs with creamy potato and bacon, which was out of this world. Our daughter loved the garlic bread with cheese and pasta with cheese. For dessert, my daughter and I had chocolate and vanilla ice cream with brownie bits, while my wife had a lemon tart, all of which were delightful. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and found a comfortable seat. The menu had a variety of options that would appeal to anyone. The atmosphere was cozy, spacious, and clean, and we never felt rushed. Parking was ample in the back. The freshly cooked food may result in a bit of a wait during busy times, but it is well worth it. The prices were reasonable, with our total bill amounting to €80 for high-quality, fresh food. Compared to other places where I have paid more for lesser quality dishes, this restaurant is a great value. Overall, we highly recommend it.

Recently dined at Langs. Service was great! Food was delicious we had dinner, dessert and drinks. The whole meal was at the top of our dining experiences while in Ireland and we highly recommend a stop at Langs.

Located in the heart of Grange Village, this restaurant offers parking spaces in the back. We visited on a Saturday and were greeted with a smile. We were seated quickly and the place was beautifully decorated with pictures of the local area. The menu looked great and I decided to try the daily special - Aberdeen Angus ribs with Speck Maische. The meat was tender and the gravy was rich and flavorful. My daughter had the children's pasta in tomato sauce with melted cheese and we shared a garlic bread with cheese. The food came out quickly and the staff was friendly. For dessert, I had the lemon tartlet with ice cream while my daughter enjoyed the ice cream on its own. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience and I can see why this restaurant deserves a five-star rating.
