Good pub and sports bar. Good menu. Decent service. Had no expectations and it surprised to the upside. The furniture and interior design could be better but otherwise worth a look.

I sat facing the kitchen by accident and that became a eye opening experience. Ordered the lasagna and watched the chef put it in the microwave after putting wings in there to reheat which concerned me.( Who microwaves old wings? This can't be good.) So I wait for the "prime rib lasagna" and it comes in looking amazing but once I cut into it it's dry and the noodles are soggy. Wet noodles, dry everything else... How long was this in the freezer to make mozzarella turn into rubber? The "prime rib" was like dog food smuggled into the rubber marsh of pasta. Starving as I was after a 15 hour day at work I ate 1/5 of it until the waitress asked me if it was good. The Canadian in me wanted to say no but I just couldn't let them trick me into eating the rest of this. I sent it back and ordered the oilslick burger because I figured it would be better than getting fast food. I was wrong. The burger came 25 min later burnt so badly it had a 3 mm layer of char and burnt oil slathered on the rest of the burger really living up to the name Oilslick. The 3 inches of toppings and bread couldn't hide that taste of poor ground up beef charcoal. I let the manager know and he bought me a beer I didn't ask for while the waitress told me that she loves burnt ground beef. Don't get me wrong. I love a good char on a burger patty but that was cooked until it was no longer beef(which is a indication that the meat might have been off). I love this bar for a drink or two but I cannot eat here again. This has been a lesson for me I hope I can learn from as I can be stubborn when starving and eat what's infront of me ignoring the potential consequences. Never again.

Monday steak night is always good at great price. Burgers and other menu items are equally good. Staff provide good services, and Todd the manager/owner is regularly around.

My wife and I don't go here often - because of the pub atmosphere, which we're not into - but we have enjoyed the food every single time. The Carvery has a small buffet consisting of the roast of the day, along with the appropriate accompaniments. It is reasonably priced, and, although there isn't a lot of choice, it's all good food. We also sometimes just order from the menu, which is extensive. Everything we have had has been delicious, with ample portions and priced to please. Service has always been good - friendly and prompt.

Dropped in for some lunch and have a great feed of wings. Nice large plump wings. Great value for money. All the wait staff was attentive and personable! Will be back soon!!!
