Osaka Sushi - Grand Sudbury

After reading some mixed reviews, I was hesitant to try this place but I'm glad I did. The sushi was delicious, though the delivery did take longer than expected. When I called to check on my order, the staff member was very friendly and even gave me a free dessert. Overall, I think they have a great team working there. I will definitely order delivery again when I want sushi.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! I have taken my girlfriend on multiple dates here and every experience has been fantastic. The servers are friendly, the prices are reasonable, the food is consistently delicious and satisfying. I can't imagine not coming here for special occasions or even just for a nice lunch.

I have had both positive and negative experiences at this restaurant, but overall, I have enjoyed the majority of my visits. The food tends to be good, though there are occasional flaws. The quality of service can vary depending on the time of day. Lunchtime is usually a safe bet, but service can decline during quieter times in the afternoon. One standout dish is the Beef Teriyaki, which uses a better cut of meat than other sushi restaurants in Sudbury.

A change from previous owners does indeed find a cleaner restaurant. Staff are polite, service via tablet is quick and food is on par with what one would expect from a cafeteria style restaurant. The dinning area lacks atmosphere and feels to open and offers not much in the way of secluded dinning. Although it has received a coat of paint, I did expect more changes after being closed for about a month. The Country music playing as we dined was a bit off and didn't, in my opinion, really fit the ambiance when eating Sushi. Guess I expected more from experienced owners. It seemed off that the menu would publicize their other business ventures by naming Sushi dishes after them, but, whatever marketing works right? The new technology of ordering from a tablet is interesting, however, not enough of an enticement to bring me back time and time again. Overall, a 3 star rating based on cleanliness and staff, and this establishment would not be my first choice for Sushi in Sudbury. Unfortunately this spot would not qualify for a recommendation to any of my friends.
