Patty's Back Door - Grand River

I was visiting friends in the area and noticed a small crowd on the porch, which made us think this must be the place to be. If you’re a fan of neighborhood dive bars, this is as good as it gets. The bartender turned out to be the granddaughter of the owner and great-granddaughter of the original Patty herself. Everyone, from the staff to the customers, was friendly and welcoming. Although we didn’t try the pizza, it looked pretty tasty. If you enjoy a little kick with your coffee, that’s one of their specialties. I highly recommend trying the Australian Rubber Nuts. They’re not listed on the menu, so be sure to ask for them. Enjoy!
