Uccello's Downtown Grand Rapids

This Italian restaurant is fantastic, offering an extensive menu that features pizza and subs. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of their drink menu, which includes a wide range of options available on tap as well as by the bottle and can. I particularly enjoyed the build-your-own pizza and the cheesy breadsticks. My friend opted for the build-your-own calzone, which turned out to be enormous!

I visited the restaurant for the first time and was the first customer of the day. I ordered a Pumpkin Spice Russian cocktail and an Italian Cobb Salad with shrimp. The cocktail was strong but delicious. The shrimp on the salad was perfectly seasoned, and the breadstick had a lovely garlic flavor. I really appreciate a salad that feels like a full meal! I had signed up for their rewards program beforehand, which earned me a $5 discount. Overall, it was a delightful lunch today. Thank you!

Fast forward a year, and I returned to find that they had significantly lowered the volume of the music. I tried the ravioli and the nacho deluxe, and I have to say, the nachos were fantastic! I had a wonderful experience this time around and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Josh is the man! We specifically made sure to come back to see him, such kind and down to earth service, one of the best waiters we?ve ever had! Great location too with ample patio seating outside and plenty of seating inside with TVs everywhere. I camespecifically for the pizza puffs after craving them from over ten years ago when I was a Grand Valley student! We also enjoyedthe amazing happy hour specials! Pizza puffs, cheesy ?U? bread and the margarita dip can?t be missed. Don?t pass this place up,and make sure to ask for Josh!
