Stan's Tacos Grand Rapids

I will begin by saying that my first experience with the Grand Rapids Stans Tacos was far from what I wanted or expected. But the owner contacted me and asked me about my experience. I told him why I had given the place a 2-star rating and he asked me to give them another shot. He did everything in his power to encourage me to try again and maybe I could change my review in return. That means everything's dry today! My husband and I have the grilled Burritos with Pico and one without. Both came on the ordered path. The chips, Queso and Salsa were amazing. We just had crumbs. The Margarita was on the point (a little strong for me when I am a light weight, but this is not Stan's fault

For the first time on Sunday. I have the 3 Taco Combo and it was DELISH! It's a little expensive, but I'm ready to lure over the extra money for some premium quality south of the border occasionally. I'm definitely back. The presentation is also great! Good job!

Stans Tacos has an amazing atmosphere, food and service. If you want to heal the winter blues, this is the place to come. The GM, John, is so crazy friendly!!! I'm here twice, and both times he took my order. He answered all my annoying questions (How is Margaritas? How sharp is the Margarita of Jalapeño? How do we feel about the tacos? Thanks Stans!

Stans Tacos for dinner. It was quiet inside when I was there, so I wondered if the food was good or not. Let me tell you. The food was amazing and Sophie (the work behind the bar) was great. She explained the menu, specials and happy hour without hesitation and no stumbling for words. I wrote the Baja Bowl and chips with Queso. When the food arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the presentation and the delicious aroma of the plate. If you haven't been here yet, I suggest you go. And please, Sophie, you're not gonna be disappointed. And make sure you are definitely worth for Happy Hour.

Their dining experience is a bit odd, but they have made improvements. They no longer wander the restaurant hollering ppls names; they have table numbers now. Grab a bag of chips while you're there. They are fabulously priced. If you go when they're not busy, you food will come out hot in 5 mins. Otherwise, it's a 20+ min wait. Great food. This place is great for a fun place to grab a bite while downtown. Imagine if Nicolodian created a restaurant for Spongebob and that's what you'd be walking into. Always playing classics.
