Pietro's Italian - Grand Rapids

As soon as you step inside, you'll be greeted by an inviting aroma and a cozy atmosphere that transports you to your grandmother's kitchen in Italy. The menu caters to all tastes, with something for everyone. A seasonal highlight is the Michigan Beefsteak tomato and Mozzarella salad – be sure to go for the four slices instead of three; you won’t regret it! Another standout dish is the fetters Michael – order a whole bowl for yourself; it's too good to share! This restaurant is perfect for all ages, whether you're casually dining or celebrating a special occasion.

I had my first dinner in Grand Rapids at a restaurant recommended by a colleague who insists it's the best Italian place in the city. The service was good, and there was a fantastic selection of wine and beer—though I opted for a pint of the Founder’s IPA. I ordered the Lasagna Fettuccine Michael sample plate, which featured two different dishes on one plate. I found it to be quite delicious, with high-quality ingredients. I look forward to returning to try more items from the menu when I'm back in town.

My husband discovered this restaurant online, and since we always enjoy trying local spots when we travel from the city, we decided to give it a go. We were definitely not disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious. I had the eggplant parmesan, while he opted for the lasagna and chicken parmesan combo. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. Our waitress, Tabitha, was wonderful! I highly recommend the Lemon Drop Martinis as well. The owner even came out to greet us, and the atmosphere was incredibly friendly. It was the perfect place for a nice dinner together.

We ordered a trip a few times and the food and service were excellent. Online ordering is simple, so the order is by phone. The children's menu also has some fantastic options for our little food!

Accommodated our large group which many places won't do currently. Service was excellent. Food is classic Southern Italian and very tasty. Price was very reasonable. Hadn't been in a while as I had moved out of town but still a great family choice.
