El Carreton Tortilleria - Grand Prairie

I ordered 3 dozen tamales and it was all masa and very little meat.

We have quite a few pupuserias here in GP but El Carreton is definitely my favorite. I can tell when food is made with love and let me tell you, with one bite you feel the love all over. I always order 2 pupusas, one of chicharon and one of frijoles con queso and 2 tacos of asado de puerco en chile verde. MAAAANN!!! The best!!! So delicious. The best asado in GP and some of the best in DFW. The whole menu is tasty. Give it a try folks. Good homestyle food made with love. Just like mamita used to make.

I loved coming here but since everything is so high with price all the food is smaller the food is very good though.

I don't think we will be going back to eat here. The food is not made fresh. It's reheated. Which i think it is against regulation to store cooked food and not throw it away when the day is done. The food used to be good here. The pupusas are so thin and hardly anything in them. Sorry, but they lost our business.Parking: Parking in front of the restaurant is a bit tricking. Only handicapped spaces and others marked for the other places of business. The laundromat next door takes all the spaces. You can park in the grocery store parking lot and walk.
