Bidrage med feedbackThis was definitely one of the best meals I've had in a long time. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. If you are staying at Seneca Niagara, I highly recommend trying the recipes at this restaurant. We ordered the 16 oz prime rib, lobster mac and cheese, jumbo scallops and shrimp entree, BLT salad, and French onion soup. The bread served with the meal was unique (with more grains and cranberries, I believe), but still delicious.
The Western Door is an excellent steakhouse. They may have the best French onion soup I've ever tasted with so much cheese and fantastic flavor. The salad was also amazing and made my wife very happy. The steaks were fabulous - I had the NY strip and my wife had the wet-aged ribeye, both cooked to perfection. The cream brulee for dessert was exceptional. I believe this is the best steakhouse, at least on the New York side of Niagara Falls.
The West Door was an exceptional experience, to say the least. We didn't have a reservation at first, but the staff was kind enough to accommodate us for a walk-in. The service and food were both fantastic. The staff was attentive and friendly. As a restaurant manager myself, I know what to look for, and I can confidently say that the service was top-notch. The steak was perfectly cooked, and the side dishes and dessert were delicious. I must commend the amazing manager, Hal, who ensured everything ran smoothly during our visit. He even handled a situation where a guest tried to cut the line with professionalism, despite the guest's anger. Overall, our experience at The West Door was excellent.
