Bidrage med feedbackPizza was soggy. how does that even happen? we will not go back!
Rate: 3.5. a rainy camping day was so decided to treat us and eat. our children (10 12) shared the homemade meatballs and spaghetti with the side of the garlic. my man and I ordered a medium pizza (server recommended,) and. they were both very tasty! I can't remember the names, but mine had sun-dried tomatoes, spinat, feta, prosciutto, and the other was different meats and mushrooms. server: friendly and a few times checked for us. cleanliness: table was dirty with smeared old food/ sauce and bugs, so we wipe it off, and the menu smelled like sour milk. we would visit again.
We ate in Potenza many times after our visit to Grand Beach. The pizza has always been great! For those who complain about soggy pizza....can rarely occur. One of our favorites! Pizza and Caesar salad.
My friends I've been in Potenza in Grand Marais for about 20 years. The waitress r super, pizza is fantastic, except the last yrs. after a piece the crust really becomes SOGGY!!!. We were there last Friday, they had a big band. We ordered a Greek salad. We opened there at 5 o'clock. Our salad was dry, we had the tops.Life of Romaine, 4 olives, about 3 slices of gurke hardly dressing, it was so dry, asked for more dressing, they said they ran out. It just opened. We went next Thursday to see the football match a few drinks. It was still early, we ordered Red Wine, they ran out, we ordered a liter of white wine for 3 of us, but it was only 3/4's filled, they ran out of White Wine. Joe, the owner who could have gone, less than a mile, in the Village grocery store, he sat on the football game... we were very DISAPPOINTED. We love it there, but PLEASE do something about PIZZA CRUST, should not run out of alcohol in the summer months. Always, have a lot of dressing on the hand of feta cheese, we had 3 points of it. Delicious pizzas, but no one wants a SOGGY chest I heard other customers complain! ENJOY POTENZA'S, but please take a look at the food fleet department!
We were planning to go to the new Benjamin’s Bistro at Traverse Bay but they were closed on a Friday night as they were catering off premises. Not a good sign for a new business if they are not reliable. Wound up at Potenzas. Had...never been there before. Usually go to the Sandbar for steak but their prices are going up and it is not nearly as crowded as it once was so we tried potenzas. Between the four of us we had a large Potenza special pizza and a regular size vegetarian. They were both delicious and we had a few pieces left over. My only complaint was the taste of the water. They should invest in a water cooler as Grand Marais water can have a very unpleasant taste. The large patio area has many hanging baskets and is surrounded by trees. Pleasant atmosphere and waitresses.
