This establishment has changed owners. They have broken a major economic rule; raising prices significantly and reducing portion sizes. A wrap is over $17. A WRAP!! This is a huge mark up and it was a half inch smaller.A family meal would be $80+. Instead of getting 5 meals, we got 2 adult meals and 1 kid 's meal AND PAID $45!! That 's diet pricing because we couldn 't justify paying $80 for lunch. We are not on a diet.I guess they are hoping to rely on a strong base from their ice cream business and the old owner 's menu. With the old owners, we also got ice cream (sometimes a pint to go). Now it 's one or the other.So let 's do the math. Old pricing we got 5 meals and paid $60. But we then got about $15 in ice cream. The same food would be well over $100 so we cut back to under $50 (and will rarely go).They are losing loyal customers. (We 've been going to grass roots since they opened 10 years ago and deep roots since they opened after that).

Would always order the Bahn Mi when it came with pork by default. It is now an extra $4 to add protein, almost $20 after tax for a pretty simple sandwich and chips.Quality is still great, and menu includes unique foods for Granby.

We have been going to deep roots for a long time now! For the most part, we loooove this food. I always get the hairdresser salad and it's 10/10. There was a rough period during 2021/22 where the quality was hit or miss, maybe change in chefs etc, but it's back to being top notch again. Highly reccomend trying if you're in the area.

Great food that was well made with good ingredients just a touch pricy i.e. $50 for two adults and one child. had the Turkish wrap and nearly couldn't finish it was so big, but so good I did.Kid-friendliness: Kids meal was real food in smaller portionParking: In a plaza with plenty of space
