La Taberna De Tiacheta - Granada

Noting to complain about here. My wife had a mojito and thoroughly enjoyed it. For me a local beer. Great place to watch the world and people go by. It made my day to just sit and have a beer here. Maybe I'm easy pleased, it's a one off place to have a drink. And you get free olives.

We'd spent a long morning walking the hilly streets of Albaicin and Sacromonte when we started looking for soomewhere for lunch along the Carrero Del Darro (beside the Darro River). There are so many eating choices along there it was almost too hard to make a decision. We were coming up to a picturesque little arched bridge when we spotted La Taberna de Tiacheta across the other side with people sittiing in the sun at tables outside. Decision made, and a good one it was too. Nice owner was very attentive. My friend had the Spanish Omelette while I ordered the beans with ham (it had a much more interesting Spanish name). I had this once before as Tapas but this was a full meal of it with bread and olives on the side and it really hit the spot! Delicious. From out table we watched people going about their day across the way and some buskers turned up playing flamenco guitar and violin which was just lovely. Cost: Roughly 22 Euros for two meals and a couple of cokes. Summary: Good food and great position.

We stopped here for a drink and were glad we did. The service was friendly and the outdoor seating is great for the views and people watching. The Rose Wine was very good as were the prices.
