Al Andalus - Granada

This restaurant does not have the best decor but the food is fresh and delicious. We were made welcome immediately and noted there are only 4 tables that take four people so it’s small and intimate. The waiter spoke English and the place was full all the time we were there. There were lamb pork beef vegetarian dishes on offer and the food being served looked delicious. Ours was excellent chicken soup then lamb chops and chicken breast. Wine and beers were good too. Has a Moroccan feel

We were on our first visit to Granada and, after looking at a number of menus, we chose to eat here. Nothing exceptional but reasonable choices in a menu del dia for €9.90 – three courses plus bread. Cheerful staff, clean toilets and the food was good so enough for 4 stars. Very convenient for the tourist coach stops.

I was visiting central Granada with my husband and had only been given one hour to eat after visiting Alhambra! The restaurant was busy a good sign but staff were not at all phased out when we told them our restrictive time limits! We sat outside but there was an indoor seating area also. We had two tasty vegetable paellas and 2 drinks. The price was good, around 26 euros. The meal was served promptly with time to spare. Staff were courteous and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Food was excellent. I would definitely go back, craving their paella already!

What a find on our first evening in Granada. Such a lovely welcome by the owner and his brother. Tom was very happy they had Manzanilla and the white wine was delicious. We decided on the couscous de pollo. Wow!! Melt in your mouth succulent chicken and the lightest fluffyist flavoured couscous we have ever tasted. Friendly knowledge staff. Will highly recommend to you all.

A lovely roadside seating in Granada just along the road where the tourist buses disembark. We just had a couple drinks here. Complimentary tapas were served as routine, a really nice place with friendly service. Recommended.
