Flipside Cafe Grill - Grafton

We visited the restaurant for the first time and had a fantastic lunch. Our waitress was outstanding—she struck the ideal balance between professionalism and warmth. The accommodations for our grandchild were perfect, and the waitress connected with him wonderfully, as she is also a grandmother. We felt completely comfortable throughout our meal. Thank you for the exceptional service!

My husband ordered the cinnamon roll French toast, and it was absolutely fantastic. I opted for the eggs and bacon served with flipside potatoes, asking for the potatoes to be extra crispy. Unfortunately, they came out almost raw, which was quite disappointing—especially since I paid an extra $2 for them. Just a tip: if you like your potatoes crispy, I recommend choosing the tots instead.

I just got back from Flipside Cafe, where I ordered the boneless bourbon chicken appetizer. When my order arrived, I was taken aback by the tiny portion—it was no bigger than a donut box. There were only eight pieces of chicken crammed into the styrofoam container, and I had requested ranch dressing for dipping. Out of those eight pieces, the sizes were quite inconsistent: most were about the size of a quarter, while two were just slightly larger and smaller than a half dollar, respectively. All of this cost me $11.61, so be cautious if you're thinking about ordering this appetizer! If I were the owner of this restaurant, I would feel embarrassed to serve such a small portion. This experience has made me more cautious about carryout orders! I would recommend dining somewhere else, as you’ll likely get a much better value for your money, rather than coming away with just a plate of leftovers.
