The Lakes - Governors Bay

Went for breakfast a week or so ago. It was a two for one deal the offsider had bought $22 for 2). Given previous comments about the place there were no great expectations if things were not all that smart. Well what a pleasant surprise! It was a buffet style arrangement and in a few words it was superb. Nice outlook over the golf course while dining as well. Great selection of fruits, breads, pastries, cereals, etc and the hot food was very good quality apart from the hash browns, which were the standard triangular pieces of cardboard). For filter coffee as part of the buffet price) it was nicely brewed, with the option of purchasing an espresso, flat white etc. Anyhow, definitely go back there again, even without a half price deal!!

The food was excellent. The serving staff were extremely effificient and very friendly. The setting is beautiful with views over the golf course and lake. Well recommended for a relaxing meal with family or friends.

We took a party of seven for Mothers Day lunch, enjoyable setting looking over the 18 green. Although a small lunch menu everyone found something to their liking and food was very good. Desserts fantastic as well. I bit of a wait for the mains but overall the service was of a high quality. Definitely going back.

Well what can I say, booked in for dinner for my 25th anniversary with my partner as peppers came highly reccomended. We arrived to the venue and was escorted to our table. We had a fantastic three course meal with a bottle of wine. We couldnt fault the service as the waiter was always checking on how we were while filling out glasses regularly. Nothing was a problem to them. I was impressed so i tipped the staff. A great night had and peppers made it even more special. I will be going back and would reccomend to others to try this venue. A

Great food, great service, always friendly. A large group in, so a little noisy as in acoustic setting Breakfast and dinner over 2 days and happy to say the food and service did not falter. Well recommended
