Superior to the superlative of superb. Cuisine that speaks in a modern vernacular, but with a traditional accent and a cosmopolitan syntax; gastronomical Esperanto methinks. Try the pulled pork pretzel, it alludes to discombobulation but then asserts cohesion. Cheeky. It's not just a cerebral juxtaposition either the textures and flavours harmonise, becoming more than the sum of their parts. Add a side of the finest fries in town, wash it down with their homemade lemonade and multiply it by the great service and friendly staff. Had lunch here today, food was so good, husband had the big breakfast and I had the doughnut, and the most delicious Mocha frappe, service was amazing, I'm guessing maybe it was Janine, the duty manager, she is a superstar, what an asset to your Cafe

We just happened upon Mrs Hucks by chance but immediately liked the ambiance of the place. Had a very generous serving of corn fritters with onion jam (delicious) and husband enjoyed an open steak sandwich, VERY impressed with this eatery and will definitely visit again. Friendly service and great coffee too.
