Wow! What a wonderful experience from start to finish! We went for dinner on a rainy Monday evening. As is typical, they open for dinner at 7:00pm. We arrived at 7:30 and had the entire place to ourselves the whole time. The waiter was a wonderful gentleman who was present when needed and discreet when not, a dying art! The food was delicious! The beginning course of olives, bread and a board of ham and the house made cheese was just what we were in the mood for. as a reminder, often the restaurants bring these unordered, you can always wave them away ; The Javali na panela de ferro wild boar in iron pot was a fabulous stew of wild boar in a deep gravy, served with a bean dish. Borreguinho assado no forno lamb roasted in the oven with roasted potatoes was amazing. All topped off with a vinho tinto it was a great experience! Only regret was not trying dessert!!!

Excellent service from Emanuel. We had the Enchidos na telha and the Javali and both were very good. The restaurant also has a small shop with some local Serra de Estrela merchandise.

Very friendly service in multiple languages. The best food you'll find wide around. Not the biggest menu but enough options. Try the local cheese! Prices were good, a bit lower than expected. We paid €38 for two meals, 3 appetizers, 2 drinks and 2 tea.

Estava alojado a 5min deste restaurante e então decidi ligar para reservar uma mesa para 4 e lá fomos jantar. Que experiência fantástica! Desde o telefonema até ao momento da saída. Pessoal muito, mas muito simpatico e a comida era excelente! Puseram-nos o queijo da serra à frente que foi muito difícil resistir... Pedimos o menu de degustação para dois que deu para retirar um pouco para as duas crianças, mas aqui tenho de ser honesto... Pedi a pensar que eram doses pequenas mas são mesmo muito bem servidas! Foi difícil comer de tudo

Experimentamos um pouco de todos os pratos e eram incríveis, gatronomia local focada no tradicional. Sobremesa foi buffet (pudim muito bom). Tem lembranças e iguarias para levar!
