Lotus Chinese Restaurant - Goulburn

A friendly welcome. Restaurant was empty (6pm on a Thursday) and two customers picked up takeaway while we were there.Nicest thing was that the fan heater was turned on and pointed under our table; it was cold in there!We had mixed entree each. Unusual dim sims and chicken and ham rolls; spring roll standard. Both had combination short soup for mains. Meats were good, broth unusual but edible. Wontons fairly heavy on Chinese 5 spice.Beers were 'British Cold'Not a bad meal but possibly below current diner expectations.

We always get our takeaway from here, it is delicious and they are so friendly. Never had any trouble and our order is always ready when they say it will be

This place is your typical Chinese restaurant, but what they do they do really well. The szechuan chicken and special fried rice was fantastic, and my friend equally enjoyed her beef and cashew dish. Price was good, service was great (lovely lady waited on us), and the place was clean and tidy - not modern but that didn't seem to matter much. Would definitely eat here again.

Yes its a family business..the restaurant is old and a little run down on the inside but very cheap and good foods. 7 or 8 dollars for a very big meal so its great for the tight budget.the owners are beautiful peolpe and care about their guests. They was happy that i could write my name in chinese hahaha.great on the purse..great food and great staff.
