Fredo's African Cuisine - Goulburn

I was looking for a vegan friendly restaurant and found this gem! Fantastic food, very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I had Plantain as entree and the Vegetarian dish as the main, which was rice, beans, potato & onion and salted greens. Price was great for such a good meal, $24 for both entree and main.

I have been here several times over the last thre years. The food is never a disappointment. The owner and chef Fredo loves to please his guests. Quite often he will come to hello to his patrons It is now only open for dinnerIf you have an appointment to attend following dinner it helps to let the staff knowas the preparation of the dishes can take longer then expected. You don't want to feel that you need to rush with your dinner nor miss the start of a show The food is tasty especially the mutton dish. The fried bananas is lovely and a favourite of mine. Fresno does an incredible rice dishAlthough the range in the menu is not bigFredo does an amazing job in making his dishes delicious and exquisite This restaurant is a 'must' if you enjoy international foods.

We were delighted with this place. The food is all totally fresh and flavoursome. We had the omelette and awesome goat curry. Children s meals are a healthy alternative from what you usually find. It's also wonderful to dine at a place run by an African refugee. Go Fredo!

A simple but lovely restaurant. Food was tasty and very reasonably priced. Generous portions. Friendly service.

The meat here is so good.Had the goat curry and it was so tender, it melted in my mouth. Absolutely divine.Partner had the bbq smoked chicken, and it too was tender and sizzling. Just what you need on a cold winter's night.Very friendly staff, and the chef is very sociable.Really liked it here, and hope to go back again some day.
