The Carisbrooke Arms - Gosport

The food at this restaurant is excellent, especially the gluten-free options. Typically, I struggle to find many options available, but here I didn't feel restricted at all. I enjoyed a delicious roast with Yorkshire pudding and cauliflower cheese, all gluten-free.

I frequently visit this restaurant for their Sunday roast, which is always delicious. They offer a choice of beef, lamb, pork or chicken served with a selection of fresh vegetables, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, and a jug of tasty gravy. The pork also comes with a great piece of crackling. The food is always served piping hot and the staff are welcoming and friendly. They have a variety of food options available every day, making it worth a visit. This place is family-friendly and dogs are also welcome.

After making improvements from its previous incarnation as The John Peel, a noisy and unwelcoming pub, The Carisbrooke Arms has transformed into a well-liked inn with a fantastic restaurant and live entertainment. The establishment also hosts events to support charitable causes.

We moved to the area in march and the guys in the pub couldn't be more welcoming. The food is great, there's a huge selection of drinks and everyone is very friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Have visited this pub a few times now when down visiting friends in Gosport. Very friendly staff with a great selection of gins and the food is top quality. Would definitely recommend :
