Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant has an excellent selection of wines that is definitely worth the trip! I particularly enjoyed the Majestic, which has a delightful maple syrup flavor, as well as all the Root 63 varieties, both red and white. A flight of five wines is just around $15, and you're allowed to keep the glass afterward. Honestly, there wasn't a single wine I didn't enjoy, and we ended up taking home a dozen bottles! The food truck on-site was serving pasta, fried dough, and cannoli. We tried the Godfather, which is like an Italian taco—delicious!
What a stunning winery! The wine slushies are fantastic! I tried a flight of wines, and they were delicious. I even bought a bottle of the Country Porch Peach wine, and it’s amazing!
The place was vibrant, with a live band and a food truck on site. At first, we struggled to find a place to sit, but a kind couple offered to share their picnic bench with us. I was really grateful for their generosity; otherwise, I would have had to sit on the ground, which I prefer to avoid because of ants. To get wine, I had to go inside, and while the store was crowded, the staff managed the lines efficiently by taking orders from guests before they reached the counter. This was a smart move! I always assess a venue by whether they ID me. Given my balding head, grey hair in various spots, and wrinkles, I usually don’t expect to be carded. Being able to skip that this time contributed to my positive experience. Once back at the picnic bench, I realized I couldn't find my wife. The nice couple informed me that she had moved to some Adirondack chairs, which are definitely more comfortable than a picnic bench. I appreciated their help! The food truck had a unique topping of crushed Doritos, which I found delightful. At that moment, I felt like I was in heaven. However, like any place, there were a few issues. The only real problem I encountered was the excessive signage prohibiting the bringing of outside water. The friendly guys in the parking lot were advising people against it as well. There were so many signs in the lawn that I had to crop half of my pictures. I understand they want to make money by selling water, but I think it’s a bit unfair for two reasons: 1) it can lead to people getting drunk faster and potentially driving under the influence, and 2) this is America, and I appreciate being able to have basic necessities like water without hassle.
