De Vergulde Turf Gorredijk

Ik kwam hier vaak en het was altijd goed. Ik heb er zelfs gewoond, dus ik kom zeker vaker terug. Groetjes, Hillie en Sietse, en nog een vredig 2016 gewenst.

With fantastic weather we dined outside on the terrace at De Vergulde Turf. Nice employees but otherwise in terms of presentation and taste it was all very mediocre. The bread board 7.95 euros was O,K. The mustard soup was fine. The carpaccio was not bad but we are used to better. You can't expect everything for 10.75 euros, but when you go out for dinner you expect something else. The main course a meat tasting for two persons at 25.25 p.p. we didn't find it particularly tasty. Didn't look very inviting either for the price of 51.00 euros. As an addition something of cabbage, two leaves of lettuce and some fries or some small potatoes. For the total price of 90.00 euros, we do not expect culinary delights, but simply a delicious meal. Too bad, but once again it was not the fault of the employees, but everything can be just a little better.
