Ocean Basket Gordon's Bay - Gordons Bay

Always a favourite when looking to satisfy a fish and chips craving. Had my lunch there and I must say that it has the best view compared to all the others I have visited. Service was great and the manager came to our table to ask if everything was ok. Tourists season helps but I hope the standards are the same throughout the year.

Supper last night was such a pleasant experience. Ocean Basket in Gordon's Bay has a refreshing atmosphere with friendly staff who not only made us feel welcome but also made use feel like family. The food was as delicious as one would expect from OB but the service is what made it memorable. Then there's the view; panoramic views of False Bay and the town followed by a fantastic sunset which had many patrons grabbing their smart phones to capture the moment. We will definitely be back.

Had lunch with family at the Ocean basket today. Sunday lunch with a sea view was everyone's idea today and the restaurant was very busy. Our waitress was on the ball, fast and professional. We had a selection of sushi and hot food. The sushi was good especially the deep fried crab. All of us that had the fish combos enjoyed them. The portions were generous and the food hot and tasty. Definitely the best option at Harbour Island.

Had a delicious lunch of prawns, fish and calamari. Food was fresh and tasty.Service was excellent and staff were very friendly. Can def recommend their prawns.

It's busy. ... but as an Ocean Basket it does NOT disappoint at all. Food is exactly what you would expect. You sit sooo clise to the water its really pretty and relaxing. They do seriously need better lighting outside. Its lovely but one would like to see what is on your plate.
