The Cockatoo Bar Restaurant - GORDON

The food is delicious, the atmosphere is delightful, and the staff is very friendly. However, be warned that it is expensive for the portion sizes.

A small gem in Gordon, this cozy oasis is the perfect spot for a post-work drink or enjoying a cheese plate. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is lovely. Highly recommended!

The dining experience was not terrible, but it took a significantly long time for our food to be served. This was my second visit to the restaurant and I was disappointed with the slow service. During my first visit, I would have given the restaurant a 5-star rating as the food was delicious and served promptly (there were only 3 of us dining). However, on this occasion, I dined with family friends and there were 6 of us. It took 50 minutes for the first dish to arrive, and there were long intervals between the subsequent dishes; we finished each plate before the next one came. This continued until our last dish arrived 40 minutes after the first one, which was just fried rice that should have taken only 5 minutes to cook. Furthermore, I noticed that another table that arrived 20 minutes after us received their dishes much quicker than we did. Perhaps the restaurant was underoccupied or there were more customers that day, but I was quite disappointed with the service.

Very too expensive for his little dishes. the strangest court we had was the sweet and sour booze. from any reason, the black was roasted deep and separately served the sweet and acid sauce with vegetables. definitiw does not seem to eat as very authentic. go to chatswood or eastwood instead!

Great food. fantastic staff. sharnie is a wonderful, informative host. great service. open on Sundays. highly recommended.
