Senor Taco - Goodyear

Senor Taco in Goodyear, AZ, is a fantastic restaurant that has consistently delivered great experiences. I’ve been a loyal customer since they first opened their doors. The service has always been commendable and the food is excellent. Recently, I placed a large catering order for a gathering with guests from California who were craving Mexican cuisine. The staff member who took my order was incredibly patient, checking with the kitchen to confirm they could handle my request. She informed me it would take about twenty minutes, and I was a bit hesitant, but they truly delivered on their promise. Not only was everything ready on time, but the order was flawless—every item was perfect, down to the condiments. To top it all off, they even offered a discount. I'm sorry to say that this location of Senor Taco doesn't compare to the other ones on the east side. My Carne Burro and Hash Brown Burro were incredibly dry and tough to eat. The rolled tacos were decent, but overall, I wouldn't come back. I was really looking forward to this because I hadn't eaten in over 24 hours, but I ended up feeling disappointed.

I would recommend avoiding this place to save yourself some time. If you're looking for better service, go to another Senor Taco. I visited a few months ago and ordered two Tacos al Pastor. I'm not a fan of onions, so I requested them without. However, they informed me that the onions were already mixed in because they prepare them in the morning and couldn’t remove them. On the other hand, the location in Litchfield has no issues accommodating my request. To give this place another chance, I decided to try a different item today. When I asked which burrito had the most Carne Asada, I was recommended the Carne Asada Burrito, which turned out to be quite lacking. I had to pay extra for cheese and sour cream, which I thought was ridiculous. I even added egg, which ended up making my bill quite high for a burrito. When I got home, I realized that for a typical-sized burrito, it was surprisingly small, and definitely not what you'd expect from a carne asada burrito. From now on, I’ll take the extra 15-minute drive to Litchfield for a better experience.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant from the start. The staff took their time to welcome us and seemed unconcerned that we were there to eat. Even though it wasn’t busy, it took an eternity for my order to arrive. I ordered carne asada fries and paid around $17, which felt overpriced for the small portion of cheese, beans, and meat that I received. They served the fries in a container, but it was mostly filled with just a little bit of toppings on the side. Overall, I feel like I wasted my money. I would advise others to steer clear of this place, as it just isn’t worth it.

Senor Taco in Goodyear AZ is a proven and true charming institution. I've been a customer since the opening. The service was always good and the food is great. I was so pleased when I requested a large Catered size order last Sunday. I had guests from CA and they wanted Mexican food. When I placed the order, the participant was the patient control with the cooking staff to ensure that they were able to complete it. She said it would take twenty minutes. I was skeptical, but they voted their word. Not only was it ready, the order was perfectly not a single mistake to include contingencies etc. They also offered a discount.
