If you find yourself driving along Highway 101 and you're in the mood for dinner or a snack but aren't sure where to stop, consider taking a quick detour to enjoy some of the best street food around. I'm hooked on their tacos! My favorites are the Pastor, Asada, Carnitas, and Pollo. Plus, they serve authentic Coke from Mexico! You really can't go wrong here! Just a heads up—there's no English menu, so it might be helpful to brush up on your Spanish!

This charming little spot packs a lot of flavor! While driving from Monterey to Pismo, my wife was craving tacos, so I discovered this gem on Yelp. The food was fantastic! We enjoyed both the tacos and a quesadilla.

We stopped for a late lunch and decided to try Gonzales, and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be! We sampled the carnitas, asada, chorizo, and pastor tacos, and each one was fantastic!

I enjoy this restaurant, and tacos are great!. I have been eating here since I been a kid. I love the alpastor tacos!!! And carne Assad tacos.
