Good old timie menu. Well done. Bar at night. Enjoyed the loaded chicken breast.

Food was hot and fresh, service was nice. Atmosphere was ok

Bad service by waitresses. Owner doesn’t care, wont respond to phone calls regarding complaints. Definitely not the restaurant the previous owners ran. Fyi if you have children or teens don’t dine in or have drinks past 8:00 or you will be mistreated the way we were Saturday night. A waitress told a manager “to handle me” because I complained about how she treated my teen daughter, called the owner and was told last night he would reach out today. Needless to say the wait staff can basically treat you any kind of way with no consequences. Used to be our go to place for lunch and dinner, definitely will not be spending another dollar at that establishment.

Hubby and I were so glad to have dined here. He ordered a steak and Inordered the fried gizzards and the boudin. The Gizzards were yummy. The batter was flavorful (not just salty) and the gizzards tasted fresh (not old, like it had been in the fridge for long), thus, it’s not rubbery and didn’t hurt my jaw (and teeth). Perfectly done. I didn’t like the boudin though. It is not as flavorful as I expected (having had boudin in numerous places in Texas). The place and ambiance is great. A very relaxing and enjoyable place to dine. The place has a bar which was just too high (as the seats appear to be short in height). Overall, we love the restaurant and definitely recommend it. We will definitely be coming back. Parking: The parking is on the square just across the restaurant. It is free and provides ample parking; but it is a shared parking with the other establishments in the area.

A really nice visit, and great food. We come over fifty miles from home to have lunch here about four times per year. I hope they will improve the signage out front because from across the street it looks dark and quiet as if no longer in business...need work on curb appeal!
