Mooyah Burgers, Fries Shakes - Gonzales

We were very pleased with our first visit to Mooyah in Gonzales Louisiana tonight. We love a big burger and they certainly did not disappoint. The burgers were fresh, hot and juicy with a perfect amount of blows on them. The buns were super fresh and slightly roasted potato beans that made the burger beautifully composed. We ordered regular frits with one side of the cheese sauce and they were also great! They were fresh frits with the skin still on and none of the frozen ones you receive from other places. They also had sweet potatopommes, but we really wanted the queen with the regular pommes. I wish I had a milkshake, but I was full after eating my burgers and pommes, maybe next time! All employees seemed very nice and the cashier Austin was very nice and patient as we tried to find out what we wanted since we were never there. He really went beyond and beyond what is rarely found in the restaurant store. I would not hesitate to recommend this place and I will certainly be back! They rocked it! The only thing I didn't like was when you were in the ladies' room, you could see out and after we were gone, I noticed you could see from outside into the sink area. Of course there are doors on the stands, but it was just a little creepy. Maybe they could cover the window better?

I love this place. I'm leaving the way to eat there. Service is great and the burgers are the best I have ever eaten. I have to open one in Houma.
