Some of the best Bar-B-que I had in Texas. All I had here was that she bar-b-qued was delicious, from her brisket to chicken to sausages, they even have large bar-b-que lamb.

This is the best grill restaurant in the world. I am an award-winning competition to cook barbecue and have barbecue in over two hundred barbecue restaurants throughout the country... Gonzales market is the best! Brisket is competitive quality! The staff is friendly and if you want to talk about how they want to prepare and shorten their meat, the owner will sit down and talk about it all day. He is very honest and passionate about barbecue. This is the best kept bbq secret around. If you drive between Houston and San Antonio, it is definitely worth eating the departure (about 15 miles south of IH 10) in this beautiful facility.

How you read!. If you read the reviews, you will see a difference of opinions. We loved the food, the different choices more then the same old potato salad, the same old beans. Although they have this BUT... The brisket was good, (already, not great), just say my children think, I do better, but it is a question of opinion. The sausage is great, I don't think the woman, again a question of opinion. We all had something else in the sides and they were all very good. We enjoyed the whole thing.

Take it to Shiner Brewery. On a recent trip to the Shiner Brewery Tour we decided to stop here on the way back to try it out. Good decision! The sausage was excellent. This sausage is handmade and smoked on site, giving it a looser texture than some would like, but the taste is from this world. You know how to build a taste in your mind, how to taste a sausage before you even taste it? For me, this sausage has met this expectation at the first bite. Just delicious. We also had brisket, that was moist and tender and had good smoke taste. Texas Brisket as I like it. You sit in one case, so I will be sure to go earlier reward you with the juicy brisket (and ribs, like any other BBQ place. I like the old Texas Square that builds his house, and the rustic interior, and the wonderful smoke aroma is a smell that I'm pretty sure I would never get tired. The people here were as friendly as they come and that was a good trip around (The Shiner Brewery was amazing. Maybe next time I get the BBQ and I eat picnic tables with a fresh shin.

Best sausage around.. The best sausage comes out of Gonzales.... period!
