Our recent visit to the Cracker Barrel in Gonzales, LA was excellent. The staff was friendly, and our waiter did a fantastic job ensuring we had everything we needed. The cookies were some of the best I've ever had—soft and fresh. Our waiter also brought us plenty of jam, just as we requested. The food was delightful; I had the Roast Beef, which was incredibly tender—no need for knives! My sides were potatoes, cole slaw, and baby carrots. My husband enjoyed the Mother's Breakfast and was very happy with it, especially since he likes fruit on his pancakes. He received an assortment of berries. The portions were generous, and the atmosphere was wonderful, with a charming vintage vibe that made it feel like home.
