My uncle recommended it. And oh **** I enjoyed it. The red salsa was mildly spicy and delicious, the chips were fresh and not greasy. The menu is extensive and I chose the beef fajita burrito, rice, and beans with a Mexican coke. It was big enough to make into two, possibly 3, meals. Good flavor, the beans were okay, but the rice was fluffy and very tasty. This is not the type of fajita meat that you'll find at higher end places. However, this is the type of hole in the wall Mexican place I've been searching for. And, I saw a full sized bar. I can't wait to go back and try a michelada and other adult beverages! I went about 2:30pm. Not packed, but still several tables were occupied. Excellent service. I have zero complaints!
We decided to try this place for breakfast. My boyfriend decided to get pork chop plate. Came with 2 chops, eggs, couple pieces of potato and refried beans. Chops were bland and 1/4 inches thick one was whole and the other was just half a chop. I ordered a barbacoa, lengua and tripita tacos. First of all I ordered flour tortilla for my barbacoa they gave me corn tortilla. Meat was okay not much flavor, the lengua taco was bland, The tripa meat was over fried. These are all basic meats a TAQUERIA should have down pat. Never again just not even worth the wait we had to wait for our food. Only gave 1 star because I have to click on it. We should of gone to Morenos down the street!!
My food was straight trash that's exactly where it went! I had the Ground Beef Enchiladas...The ground beef was dry and hard and had burnt parts in it. The refried beans were sour! I was only able to stomach the rice. Will not be going back. Altho Emma's is a bit pricey for a family of 4, it's well worth it! Will not be trying anything different anytime soon!
Delicious breakfast and great prices! Best breakfast taco/ burrito place! Also nice atmosphere inside!
