The Nugget Grill - Goleta

Don't be deceived with the name! This place is really incredible! Happy Hour IPA is $4.50! That's great! Our server was great and attentive. Food was great. Try this!

A walk while visiting Santa Barbara. Here the locals find a great service and excellent food! Beautiful variety and options on their menu. Prices are decent and prices are large. The bar and restaurant are constantly busy with some outdoor seating, so there may be a wait time not sure if they take reservations.

This is a cool place. They had a vibe and went for it. It's not my style, but I appreciate it. I just wanted a burger. The staff was spectacular, and it seemed as if they covered each other where necessary, so kudos to them. I certainly went to a busy time, unintentional, but the food warns or really late. The burgers and frits were absolutely delicious, I couldn't even have a modicum of the estate haha.

We live a block away and sit on the bat to have a martini while we wait for our order to go. Eating is fine. Last night I had to ask the hostess if the bartender served the wide end of the bar. Jeff randomly spoke to another guest. no eye contact or engagement with other customers save the payment of their neighbor. It was literally 10 minutes before he even recognized us, then took our order and made three table drinks before he made ours. I wanted to inform management privately, but there is no contact on their website. We'll be back, but if Jeff works, we'll go somewhere else.

The Nugget is a solid local joint. It's not fancy. Enter and there is a bar to your left and table to the right. Plus a healthy-sized patio out back that is a touch close to the freeway, but not bad. Our server today was a super helpful and friendly. He earned the 4th star in this review. He did a great job. As for food there are lots of burgers and sandwiches. I've tried a burger and a french dip, both solid if unspectacular. Eating out is getting expensive and the Nug isn't that cheap anymore. All in, I'll return.
