Neuse River Chinese Restaurant

Great food! better than in goldsboro. edit: google has set the position within cards. edit: apparently google cards keep this on US-117 old and shows the wrong location. if they type 2455 US-117, 27530 it will take them into the shopping center it is in. So I owe google maps for the previous commentary and 4 star rating.

The people are friendly and the portions are huge. best food for every local take-out!

Eating is good, but I would recommend trying the garnelen brokkoli with roasted rice. Great.

Egg Roll was excellent, the House lo mein was dry and tasted like salty chicken broth. I ordered a quart but received a lunch tray. I called and was told “Chinese food has to be eaten immediately, and because it was two hours later is why it was dry” (There was no sauce in the container bottom, and the noodles were Aldente). I had the same from the place by Food Lion last week, and it lasted 3 days and was great each day. This is apparently not traditional lo mein, or I had a bad experience?? A friend of mine had told me about this place.

Ordered Wings and Fried Rice. I only received 3 chicken wings when everybody else gives 4. I DO NOT recommend this place!!!
