Poke Tea - Gold River

The food here is absolutely delicious, and the restaurant is impeccably clean. I appreciate being able to enjoy both tea and poke in one place. The crab salad was excellent as well. Next time, I’ll be sure to request extra sauce, as I didn’t quite taste the ponzu and miso. The service was quick and efficient. I will definitely return. I really love this place!

I visited the plaza planning to get Poke, but I changed my mind after recalling how slow the service was during my last visit. They were understaffed, with only one person handling both the Poke and drinks during a busy weekend dinner rush. Instead, I opted for teriyaki next door. That said, the Poke here isn't bad at all.

I usually don't write negative reviews, but I felt compelled to do so for this restaurant. I ordered a regular poke bowl with an extra scoop of protein and avocado for delivery. Unfortunately, the bowl was mostly filled with rice. It wasn't until I started eating that I realized there were very few toppings; otherwise, I would have taken a photo. I paid for two scoops of tuna and two scoops of salmon, but there was hardly any fish in the bowl. As someone who visits poke places frequently, I would estimate that there was only about the equivalent of two scoops compared to other establishments. The bowl included three small slices of avocado, a few cubes of cucumber, and barely enough crab and seaweed salad for one bite each. The tuna had a slightly fishy taste. I’m giving it two stars because the small pieces of salmon I did manage to get were good, but I won't be coming back since it wasn't worth the price I paid.

The poke here is delicious and full of flavor, but there was only one staff member working during lunchtime, which resulted in an extremely long wait. Overall, I'd rate the food a 5, the service a 2, and the atmosphere a 4.
