Howard's Donuts - Gold River

I was very disappointed. I've had some really delicious donuts in the greater Sacramento area, and this was among the worst.

The selection of amazing donuts is exceptional. The family running the place is lovely. The shop is very clean, and the donuts are delicious and fresh! I visited at 7:30 on a Sunday morning, and there were still plenty of donuts available.

1/11/23 Major Update Announcement. Most of us know that the hot chocolate is offered in donut shops in a machine and taste, good, terrible. Howard's Donuts, the small hole in the wall donut shop in Rancho Cordova, just announced that they have changed the way they prepare their hot chocolate. Howard's introduces a new hot chocolate recipe with Ghirardelli chocolate. I had my first big cup of hot chocolate when this morning in Howards. My cup Howatd's hot chocolate was the most creamy, chocolateiest and delicious cup of hot chocolate I've ever tried. Every sip was amazing. You will literally enjoy every sip. Not all at Howard's Donuts were trained with the new formula. Ask the opponent if they were trained to prepare the new Howard's Hot Chocolate. If they say no, ask them who has it. For many of us, chocolate is our guilty pleasure. The new Howard's Donut's hot chocolate is so good, you'll have a date on the next visit. I came back again and still was amazing. Niksai you are the greatest donut maker ever. I love you so much I can't wait to be back again next week and I'll be expecting Niksai to be there making his beautiful donuts. Love this place.Back here again and still love it. I love you Niksai.

The donuts here are delicious! Fresh made, the staff is fredily and efficient. Come here all the time!
