Pizza Capers Mermaid Waters

An hour later, I called back because my husband has to go to bed early for his essential job in Brisbane—he needs time to digest his food before sleeping. I asked if our order was on the way, and the owner said the driver would be leaving shortly and that our pizzas would arrive in 15 minutes. We aimed for a delivery time of 7:05 PM. Unfortunately, the driver didn't show up until 7:20 PM—an hour and a half wait, which was far from the initial estimate. To make matters worse, he didn’t even place the pizzas on the ground for me; he just handed them to me. When I opened the boxes, there were only two pizzas instead of three, and they weren't even our order. When I pointed this out, they contacted the owner, who admitted that the driver had given our order to someone else (lucky them, as they got an extra pizza!). I returned the pizzas and requested a refund to my credit card. The owner then informed me that for any order under $100, I would need to come into the shop the next afternoon for the refund. I was furious and hung up. A few minutes later, I called back and mentioned that I had just spoken to my solicitor. I reminded them that my order was indeed under $100 and that they had to issue the refund immediately. I emphasized that asking me to come in for a refund was unnecessary travel that put my family at risk. I demanded my refund or I would take legal action. I was so incredibly irritated. I then called Domino's, an American company, and they had our pizzas delivered in just 25 minutes after ordering.

We waited almost an hour for our pizza to be delivered. After making two calls, it finally arrived, but it wasn't cooked properly and was only lukewarm. Very disappointing experience.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant, which was the worst I've encountered since arriving in Australia. The vegetables were not fresh, there wasn't enough sauce, and the food lacked flavor—there wasn't even any salt. The shrimp also didn't seem clean. I certainly wouldn’t recommend it, especially for pasta.

I visited Pizza Capers for the first time today and I was quite impressed. I ordered two large pizzas and two garlic breads as part of an online deal, and the staff member on the phone added it to my order right away. The pizza was delicious, and the garlic breads were a fantastic addition. The kids absolutely loved the pepperoni pizza, while I enjoyed the supremo, which was much better than pizzas I've had from other places. I will definitely return when I'm in the area.

I visited while on holiday and was truly impressed with the quality! A friend recommended this place, and I would suggest it to anyone visiting the coast. It's far superior to other Pizza Capers I've been to, and the staff were incredibly friendly.
