Oriental Chinese Restaurant

I haven't visited this restaurant in a while. Unfortunately, the food was very poor, especially considering it was a public holiday and the place was busy. The selection and variety of vegetables were not appealing at all; I have better options in my own garden. However, I must say the sauces were well blended and the service was good. It's always disappointing to have to give a negative review for a restaurant owned by people you know. We were the last ones to place our order, and I hope they can improve the quality of the meals soon.

During our recent visit to Chinatown in Singapore, we dined at this restaurant twice. It is situated on the corner of 195 New Bridge Road. The place was always busy with locals, which immediately drew us in. The menu is extensive, with options in both Chinese and English accompanied by pictures. Every dish we saw being served around us looked and smelled amazing. I ordered the sweet and sour pork, which I have to say is the best I have ever had. My husband tried a noodle dish on the first night and a beef and potato dish on the second night, both of which were generous and delicious. The prices are reasonable for Singapore, and the portion sizes are larger than most places, making it possible to share a meal between two people. The service was fast and the beer was cold. I highly recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

We Ate there twice on our recent stay in Chinatown Singapore. It's located at 195 new bridge road on the corner. It was always absolutely buzzing with customers... All locals..... So it attracted us immediately. The menu is very comprehensive and in Chinese and English with pictures. Every meal we saw dished up around us was magnificent and looked and smelt so good. I had the sweet and sour pork and have to say it's the best I've had in my entire life. My husband had a noodle dish the first night and beef and potato dish the second. Both really generous and delicious. The meals are reasonable priced for Singapore but are considerably larger than mat places and you can arguably share one between two. Service was quick and the ver was cold.I highly recommend this restaurant.. You won't be disappointed.

Good food, cheap prices, clean. Staff are helpful. A broader menu would be nice. Don't know what else to say.
