Nineteen At The Star - Gold Coast

Dining at Nineteen at The Star was truly exceptional. As soon as I entered, I was enveloped by a cozy atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The menu felt like a dream for food lovers, offering a wide variety of options, and every dish was bursting with flavor. From the appetizers to the desserts, I felt like I had entered food paradise. The presentation of the dishes resembled art, showcasing the care and passion that went into their preparation. It wasn't merely a meal; it was a delightful experience. I left with a joyful heart and a satisfied appetite. If you appreciate great food in a relaxed setting, Nineteen at The Star is definitely the place to go!

The staff were polite and the ambiance was nice, but the restaurant is quite close to a noisy bar. We had a table for seven, and the cost was $170 per person, including drinks, which is steep for average food. The steaks were good, but not exceptional, while the fish was dry and the accompanying sauce didn't complement the dish. The appetizers were overpriced and quite ordinary, and the side dishes really should have been included with the mains. The worst part was having to pay $20 for parking after spending $1,200 on mediocre food. On a positive note, the wine selection was commendable. The host really needs to make some improvements here, and parking should definitely be complimentary for diners.

I absolutely loved the view! The food was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. The atmosphere was delightful as well. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.

Food and flavours were thoughtful and well constructed, with portion sizes reasonable for this style of restaurant but the cost is high. Staff were really friendly and accommodating.
