Elk Espresso - Gold Coast

This place is great! The one hour free flowing mimosa boozy brunch for the person on a holiday for $39 is where it’s at! I had the basil scramble eggs and a few too many mimosa’s was perfect. The staff were also happy and helpful. Can’t wait to go back.

We ordered the chicken waffles potato hash. I found the waffles to be too sweet, especially when paired with fried chicken which is savoury. The potato hash was good, and the bacon was done well.

It’s our second time to the elk expresso. <br/ <br/ We ordered potato hash with smoked salmon (with extra salmon and extra potato hash) and crispy skin salmon.<br/ <br/ The potato hash with smoked salmon was very good. The potato hash was crispy. The combination of smoked salmon and avocado with special sauce was perfect. The poached egg was also nice.<br/ <br/ The crispy skin salmon was delicious. Salmon was served with green pea and veggies. Salmon skin is crispy and salty. The salmon was perfectly cooked tender with a crispy crust. The plate presentation was beautiful. <br/ <br/ The environment was great. Staff are very friendly. Great location 1 min walk to the beach. They provide outdoor and indoor seat.<br/

I highly recommend this cafe! This is at Broadbeach, Gold Coast. There are brunch, lunch, desserts and drinks. It's a little bit busy because it's one of the popular cafes here. Let's check it out when you're at the Gold Coast!
