Cha Cha Japanese - Gold Coast

After a Sunday afternoon we decided to come here and enjoy something to eat, testify an amazing friendly staff, hugs their customers, helped go or sit, and you can see how much kindness happens at the same time. People feel relaxed and comfortable, so clear. Food is nice, good value, service is nice and fast. It's as good to see places like these. Is far from imagination but a total luxury

The middle aged woman at front of house is as blunt as grand dad's axe. No pleasantries, no hellos. If you like sub standard food and an eat and get out vibe, you'll feel at home here

The first main that we ordered came out 15 minutes before the rest. The fried rice tasted nice but was really mushy. They had sold out of one of the dishes but didn't let us know until we enquired where it was. The shoyu ramen tasted more like Hong Kong style noodles than it did ramen. They had put the sashimi on top of a bed on ginger which made it all taste like ginger.

This place is definitely not recommend for dining out. food is over cooked. There is only emu face service.

So disappointing! I have been eating at Cha Chas for over 8 years, and recommend it to everyone I can as the best Japanese on the Gold Coast. Slowly over the years the serves have gotten smaller and smaller which is fine, I understand, but tonight I ordered what we always do (chicken katsu and a teriyaki chicken which comes with your meat and rice)… but even though the price has stayed the same it no longer comes with rice!!!! Half a container with just a bit of chicken? love your food and have always driven the 15/20 minutes to your restaurant to get our takeaway and support local but not anymore. $99 for 4 containers of half chicken and 2 x egg rices (which we ordered for the kids) Really disappointing!! Sorry you lost a regular local!
